June 24 – 25, 2023
Boat racing returned to Lake Guntersville in 2018, bringing back one of the oldest and most popular tourism events held on the 69,000 acre reservoir. Don’t miss this exciting event featuring the Unlimited Series.
The weekend features other exciting water sports. Static displays, concerts, food and fun will round out the festival. In 2022, Guntersville Lake Hydrofest will host race for the prestigious American Power Boat Association Challenge Cup, commonly known as the Gold Cup. It is the oldest active trophy in all of motorsports.
