Lake Washington • 2-mile race course
Many of the H1 Unlimited hydroplane fleet call Seattle home. The Emerald City has hosted the Unlimited hydros since 1951 with Lou Fageol winning the very first Seattle race driving Stan Sayres’ Slo-Mo-Shun V. In 2023, the Unlimited hydroplanes will compete for the coveted APBA Gold Cup as well as the HomeStreet Bank Cup on Lake Washington. The Boeing Seafair Air Show featuring the U.S. Navy Blue Angels will fill the skies above the water. Both events are part of the summer long Seafair celebrations in the Seattle community.
