HAPO Columbia Cup Victory

Jimmy Shane piloted the U-1 Miss HomeStreet to victory in the winner-take-all final heat of the 2022 HAPO Columbia Cup at Tri-City Water Follies.  Shane set a new course qualifying record of 164.039 mph on the way to a perfect weekend, winning 4 preliminary heats in addition to the final.  This win was Jimmy’s 22nd career win and his 16th with Miss Madison Racing.

1 – 2 Finish at Madison Regatta

Miss Madison Racing finished 1st and 2nd in the 2022 edition of Madison Regatta on the “Wild” Bill Cantrell Race Course on the Ohio River.  Jimmy Shane piloted the U-1 Miss HomeStreet to victory in the final heat.  Jimmy held off a close challenge from Corey Peabody in the U-9 and the race was cut short when the U-9 flipped entering turn 1 on the last lap.  Shane averaged a speed of 147.563 mph.  Jeff Bernard brought the U-91 Miss Goodman Real Estate home with a 2nd place finish.

Ya Gotta Regatta!

It is once again time to celebrate the 4th of July weekend in Madison, Indiana with hydroplane racing, a parade, fireworks and music.  Races have been held on the Ohio River in Madison since 1951.  The 2022 edition with feature the H1 Unlimited class including the 2 hometown Miss Madison Racing entries, the U-1 Miss HomeStreet piloted by Jimmy Shane and U-91 Miss Goodman Real Estate driven by Jeff Bernard.  Grand Prix America hydroplanes and E350 hydroplanes will also be racing on the river.  On shore, music fans can enjoy the Roostertail Music Festival.  Visit madisonregatta.com for tickets and information.

U-1 Again!

Sept 18, 2021:  Jimmy Shane drove to a 1st place finish in Heat 2B to clinch the 2021 H1 Unlimited National High Points Championship for Miss HomeStreet and the Miss Madison Racing Team at the HomeStreet Bank San Diego Bayfair.

The Miss HomeStreet hydroplane will once again carry the U-1 designation in 2022.

Looking Ahead to San Diego Bayfair
